6 Weeks Beginner Hand Building Session (Over 16s)

Our Beginner Hand Building Session is a great option for beginners, or those who have previous hand building experience and would like a refresher.

In this course you will: practice hand building techniques including pinching, coiling and slab building with clay to create flat and 3D forms; and learn different glazing techniques using ceramic slip and glazes.

A set piece will be given at the start of each session for you to make, but detail and style of your own choice is encouraged. You will be taught by one of our team and be guided throughout the session.

Come and get involved in your own creations in clay. You don’t have to be arty, just keen to have fun, make a mess and make some new friends. We’ll even throw in a cuppa along the way!

• Each session is two hours
• You will need short finger nails

• Cancellation or rescheduling with one week prior to the session is feasible and refundable
• Cancellation less than 7 days before the session will not be refunded
• Non-attendance is not refunded and late arrival will not mean extended time at the end
